A lot has happened in the past week or so; many changes, plenty of them let us know that summer is coming to a close. Don’t worry, I’ll try and make this post as painless as possible because goodness knows I’ve read more than my share of mopey “Everything’s ending” posts.

We’ve all gotten our (in)famous “Welcome to another year at BHS” letters (Mazzola for Adv anyone?). It ought to be a blast, unless something goes terribly wrong. Of course they got my schedule wrong, so I’m signed up to take Improv with Dizzo instead of AP Calc. Darn, I don’t know what I’ll do if they can’t fix that mistake.

We have a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher (aka, General Music). Gillers is gone off to teach in Churchville. It drives me crazy because I loaded up on general electives this year just to have her as a teacher. That’s life for ya.

College students are leaving in droves and I’m not sure what’s worse, having to say goodbye to them or seeing page after sappy page of goodbye, goodluck posts. Pat left this morning, but I have a sneaking suspicion that we’ll see him around still.

This post is turning out exactly how I didn’t want it to, so I’ll say no more.

In other news, this link makes me want to move to NYC right now.

And so it begins, my new blog.
This coming year will be my last at dear old BHS so I’ve decided to run this more as a photoblog, something that xanga couldn’t do quite as easily. I’m hoping this will last me quite a while and if everyone saves this link then they should be able to check up on me in say, five years? some point beyond college even?

It will be interesting to say the least. I’m still working on parts of the site, and trying to figure out more efficient ways to move these image files, but besides that I think I’m gonna like it here. I’ve got other things to do today, so perhaps more of a detailed post later.
